Friendly. Local. Musician.

Hi, I’m Jeromy Acton. Drawing from a background of more than 20+ years as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, worship leader, music & vocal director, I am excited to be exploring the possibilities as an independent artist, music instructor, and studio musician. If you are in need of music for an event, a sub for your band, a music teacher, or a lyricist/musician on your current project, I’d love to hear from you!

About Me

Originally from Lansing, Michigan, my life, family and travels have taken me all over the Southwest, California, Vancouver BC, Chicago, and finally, here in lush and beautiful North Carolina. I have degrees in English Literature and Voice from the University of Texas at Austin (hook ‘em Horns!), and a Masters from Regent College in Vancouver, B.C. Always desiring to grown and learn more, I can play most of the instruments in a modern rhythm section (guitars, bass, keys, percussion), and a variety of folk instruments (mandolin, ukelele, a smattering of banjo). With a background in voice, I can also vocal direct, conduct, or engage developing voice students. As a songwriter and producer, my emotional center is great lyrics, but I deeply enjoy the whole songwriting/production process. My native recording platform is Logic X & use Ableton Live as a music director.

It has been a great privilege to work with talented musicians, artists, students and worship leaders inside and outside of a church context for the past 20+ years. I am always working on my own songwriting projects, one of which I hope to release this Fall.

But enough about me- please let me know how I might be of help to you!
